Mandatory information that does not apply
The following information required by § 5 DDG is omitted because its statutory preconditions are not met here. It is listed so that its absence can be understood.
- VAT identification number and business identification number: no entrepreneur status, no liability for VAT.
- Commercial, association, partnership or cooperative register with registration number: no entry.
- Competent supervisory authority: the activity does not require official authorization. KernBite is not a medical device and provides no nutritional counselling.
- Chamber, statutory professional title and professional regulations: not a regulated profession.
- Authorized representatives and information on winding up or liquidation: applies only to legal persons.
Consumer dispute resolution
The provider is neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body (§ 36 VSBG, German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act). The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025.
Liability for links
The respective provider alone is responsible for the content of external links. At the time of linking, no legal infringements were discernible.
Image credits and labelling of AI content
The recipe images in the app are AI-generated symbolic images, created with Google Gemini and Imagen. They carry the invisible SynthID watermark identifying them as AI content and are visibly labelled as symbolic images in the app. No real persons are depicted. This information is provided pursuant to Art. 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence.
